Principal's Message
Welcome to Thompson Junior High School!
Through our daily interactions, we encourage Thompson students to work toward their dreams and personal goals. We know they are capable of anything they set their minds to and want to empower them in the process!
I have been the principal here at Thompson since 2021. Previously, I was an assistant principal at Plank Junior High School. Before beginning work in SD 308, I was the Academy Principal at Rockford Jefferson High School.
Our Tigers staff members are among the most talented and caring in the land! We are committed to serving our students beyond academics, nurturing them as they develop into productive community members. The level of compassion and care for our staff, students, and learning community really sets our school apart!
As they travel through junior high, I hope our students can reflect on their learning experience at Thompson with fondness. We want them to feel well-equipped and prepared for life's journey!
